What size storage unit will I need?
You can call the office to set a convenient time to take a personal tour with no obligation to rent.
Do I have to sign a lease?
Yes, however, it is month-to-month and ends as soon as you vacate the unit. You are only obligated to pay for the month(s) you are in the unit.
What is a climate-controlled unit?
The temperature in this type unit will not go below 60 degrees in the winter or above 80 degrees in the summer.
What do I need to bring with me to get a storage unit?
A valid picture ID, rent payment for the month (or prorate), and a $25 set-up fee, which includes a new lock for your storage door. You can bring your own lock, however, a stainless steel disc lock is required.
How do I pay for my unit each month?
You can mail your payment, drop a check or money order in the drop box outside the office, or pay in person during office hours. You can also make a recurring payment by credit or debit card with a small fee or set up auto bill pay with your bank.
When will my storage fee be due?
All storage payments are due on the 1st of every month. The payment is considered late if you pay after 4:30 pm on the 5th of the month.
Will I receive an invoice for my storage each month?
We do not send bills. Please set up a reminder in your bill system, make arrangements with your bank to send us a check, or sign up for auto draft from your credit or debit card.
What are my payment options?
Cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover.
Do I need to insure my storage contents?
It is recommended, but not required. However, we do NOT insure your contents for any reason. Ask our office staff for information on self-storage insurance.
What are the office hours?
Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
When can I access my storage unit?
6:00 am to 10:00 pm seven days a week
How do I lock my storage unit?
We require stainless steel round disc locks to secure your unit.
What items can be stored in my unit?
Do not store combustible, explosive, hazardous, or toxic materials. Also, do not store food or perishable goods. Common sense and state laws determine what may be stored.
What happens if I need an additional unit?
We will take $5.00 off the regular monthly rental rate for each additional unit rented.
What happens if I need to up-size or down-size?
We will prorate you out of one unit and into another, if needed, any day of the month. You will be required to make this transition within a 24 hour period or over a weekend.
What happens when I don’t need the storage unit anymore?
You must empty the unit, sweep it out, take your lock, and call the office the day you vacate the unit.
How much notice do I need to give when moving out?
No prior notice is needed until the day you completely vacate the unit, at which time you are required to notify the office that day. If the office is closed, you can call and leave a message.
